Once upon a time the charcoal burner was a widespread and characteristic figure of the Maremma towns, who got his job and business from cutting woods and selling timber. Just the distance from the growing light pollution that characterizes the urbanized areas of our cities, allows us to appreciate the beauty of the deep starry sky and objects that have now become invisible in other contexts. From this position you can relive the exciting show of shooting stars that characterize the skies at different times of the year: from the Perseids of the night of San Lorenzo, to the Aquarids of January, to the Orionids of October. The conduit\u00a0 built with terra cotta pipes was characterized by two bridges that allowed the crossing of important waterways.
